Rest In Power Nipsey Hussle
Oh Kevin, what a mess this man made. What’s so interesting about his jokes, other than the fact that they weren’t funny, is the amount of people who share his sentiments.
After the death of a certain problematic young rapper, people took the social media streets to either give their sympathetic condolences or scream Hallelujah from the top of their Twitter feed. But the question that remains to be answered: Does a cancellation mean nobody should care when you die?
One of our biggest problem as humans is that we are too easily distracted, and it’s funny because… it wouldn’t be a problem if our distractions were productive, but most times they’re not. We stay focused on the wrong shit. Nevermind the big picture, the beautiful work of art that is life and the human mind, we’re too busy looking for Waldo and his stupid ass hat.
People have a bad habit of calling shit art just because it’s provocative. Or, the “artist” feels the making an insightful addition to a conversation nobody invited them to. Whatever Aubrey thought he was doing, he missed the whole ass mark. Because not only would these shirts look stupid af without the blackface… this man is in actual blackface. Jesus be second and third opinion.
It’s crazy how mad some people get over interracial couples, as if someone’s skin color or cultural background is a crime. But folks of all shades and walks of like either know someone, or are that someone, who hates seeing people date outside their race. Not only is it none of anyone’s business, but why care enough to even be angry about it??
Impatience isn’t really our fault in my opinion. We live in a society where corporations have placated our inherent need for instant gratification. So when we don’t get what we want, right when we want, we’re ready to fight. Fight ourselves, fight somebody else, or fighting the terrifying notion of… “Oh shit, what if I DON’T get what I want? Fuck!”
So the Kanye is cancelled train pulled out of the Fuck This Nigga station about seven seconds after he pledge his allegiance to the Toupee Fiasco and his bullshit. And to add insult injury this man has done nothing but double down ever since. Disappointment isn’t even the word a lot of Kanye fans are feeling, because he’s still Kanye, he’s just… Kanyer. I don’t know…
